"Photography is less about taking photos and more about seeing things. A camera is not the main tool, the eyes are. Moments always exist, our job is to recoginise and preserve them."
-us, it's us that said that then we quoted ourselves saying it.

Swift & Click are Jared and Rachel- wedding, commercial & lifestyle photo/video people based in Mount Maunganui, NZ. Although we try and make ourselves look really awesome on this website, we are just a normal people in our early thirties working together. Running a business, juggling kids and photography and life and generally failing at keeping our kitchens clean. What we enjoy the most is people; their interactions, their reactions, the outwards displays of emotion in all their brutal obviousness and their frail subtleties. We also like making things- environments, products, places- look awesome. In short, we like making and taking photos and videos, but what really inspires us is PEOPLE.
People. We like them.
Weddings are not everything.
Relationships are more important! But that's not what this section is about ;) It's about the other stuff we do. We do quite a lot of model type stuff, we have a studio and it's pretty cold in winter. We sometimes do family and lifestyle shoots. But it's not just people, it's food or houses or other random stuff. Like the time Rach shot this super sweet kitchen and I had been watching lots of early star trek (which I always hated growing up) and when I was doing the editing I thought the kitchen looked all futuristic but instead of going modern I went like early 80s Star trek version and I was so happy. Those images of that kitchen won it kitchen of the year. I just wanted to go install a food replicator but they haven't been invented (yet). Anyway, below is some photo click bait and also a button you push (we love buttons so much- we should be sponsored by buttons).
